PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce welded structural parts of a boom to enhance the reliability of the boom and enhance the mounting strength of a fixing seat for fixing a hydraulic oil pipe and the like. SOLUTION: Tree members of a boom foot member 13 constituting the boom 12, a cylinder mounting member 17, and an arm mounting member 21 are formed by casting. A fixing seat 16 fixing seats 18, 19 and 20 and a fixing seat 22 are integrally formed in the boom foot member 13, the cylinder mounting member 17, and the arm mounting member 21, respectively. Thereby welded structural parts of the boom 12 can be reduced as compared with the boom formed as a welded structure as the whole, and its reliability can be enhanced. By integrally forming the fixing seats 16, 18, 19, 20 and 22 to the arm mounting member 21, the mounting strength of the fixing seats 16, 18, 19, 20 and 22 to the boom 12 can be enhanced.
