PURPOSE: Provided is an alginate impression material composition which is harmless to the human body, and not nearly separated from other impression materials due to the density difference with excellent tearing strength. CONSTITUTION: An alginate impression material composition contains 0.1-85wt.% of pulverized cereal husk or wood meal. The cereal husk is obtained from chaff or rice-straw. The size of the pulverized particles maximally reaches 40 micrometers. The composition further contains sodium alginate, calcium sulfate dihydrate, trisodium phosphate, diatomaceous earth, talc, potassium titanium fluoride, aluminum oxide, and polypropylene glycol.
