<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron head having repellence as much as possible even when hitting by the edge neighborhood on the heel side of a faceplate. <P>SOLUTION: In the iron head in which the metal faceplate 12 is welded to a metal head body having a hosel section, a volume BK is included between the faceplate and the back section 10B of the head body, the volume ranges to even a position nearer to a heel 10H than to the margin 12H on the heel 10H side of the faceplate, and the rear side of the heel marginal portion of the faceplate has a structure of being hardly received by the head body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
