<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the optimum transmission power of a high-speed packet transmission channel, taking the moving speed of a communication terminal unit into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: A moving speed detecting circuit 106 detects the moving speed of the communication terminal unit, by using the output signal of a reverse spread circuit 104. An A-DPCH power setting circuit 107 sets the transmission power of an A-DPCH, based on a TPC command outputted from the reverse spread circuit 104 by controlling a mean time x, based on the moving speed. A power offset deciding circuit 201 decides on a power offset value α of packet transmission data from the amount of transferred data, by controlling the value α based on the moving speed. A DSCH power setting circuit 108 sets the transmission power of a DSCH, adding the power offset value α to the transmission power of the A-DPCH, by controlling the reflecton time z, based on the moving speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
