<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-phase alternating-current synchronous generator for bicycle and a power supply device, wherein the rotational resistance of the generator is minimized and high output is obtained; and power can be constantly generated and thus power can be stored and supplied, even during running. <P>SOLUTION: In the three-phase alternating-current generator for bicycle, a shaft 30 is passed through a hub 10, and a core 32 and a coil 33 are installed in the center stage of the shaft. In the hub, an inner ring gear 11 and a ring-shaped magnet 22, which corresponds to the core 32 and the coil 33, are installed on one side of the hub. A magnet case 20 is fit onto the ring-shaped magnet, and the magnet case is provided on one side with a bearing. Thus, the magnetic case is coupled and rotated at the same as with the shaft. The open edge of the magnet case is joined with a plate member 40 having a spindle gear 42. A gear assembly comprises the inner ring gear and the spindle gear, which are different in diameter from each other and an intermediate gear 52 installed between he inner ring gear and the spindle gear.
