<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box for electric installation which can reduce the member cost and the construction cost by enabling the box to be attached simply to a wall panel without using small screws or mounting metal fittings like in conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: The elastic box B for electric installation consisting of box split bodies 11 and 12 is fitted into the opening 25 of the wall panel from the side of the wall panel W, in a condition that it is contracted. Then, the box B for electric installation is elongated to the limit of the size of the opening, whereupon the projections 15 and 16 of each box split body 11 and 12 can be abutted against the rear of the wall panel W, and the box B for electric installation can be temporarily fixed to the wall panel W by one-touch operation. Wiring accessories A such as a switch, a plug socket, etc. are applied to the surface of the wall panel W and are fastened to the main body 10 of the box with screws 26, whereupon both obverse and reverse of the wall panel W can be caught with the wiring accessories A and the projections 15 and 15, and the box B for electric installation is fixed into the opening 25 of the wall panel W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
