ENGINE START/STOP CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine start/stop control system capable of reducing a manufacturing cost in the engine start/stop control system having smart ignition function.

SOLUTION: The engine start/stop control system 1 comprises an emergency key 25, a portable machine 11 having communicating function and a vehicle control device 12 permitting the start of the engine subject to establishment of mutual communication with the portable machine 11. The vehicle control device 12 conducts transponder communication with a transponder control part 26 provided in the emergency key 25 when the emergency key 25 is mounted on a key cylinder used for a locking and unlocking mechanism for locking and unlocking an opening/closing part (a lid part) of a glove box provided in the inside of a vehicle 2. The vehicle control device 12 permits the start of the engine subject to establishment of the transponder communication.
