<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible thin film silicon solar battery capable of reducing costs, and realizing a high voltage value by using an inexpensive transparent electrode whose near ultraviolet transparency is excellent. <P>SOLUTION: This thin film silicon solar battery is configured by forming an incident light side electrode on a flexible substrate, and arranging one or more unit cells laminated in p-type, i-type, and n-type structures successively from the incident light side, and successively arranging a counter electrode. This solar battery element has the incident light side electrode as a metallic thin film wherein the transparency of light whose wavelength region is ranging from 380 to 420nm is 40% or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
