PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the lubricant retaining mechanism that can supply the lubricant to the bearing space for long hours by simple constitution. SOLUTION: An annular member 5 of a U-shaped groove in cross section forming the lubricant retaining mechanism is welded on the inner diameter face side of an annular section 4a on the smaller diameter side of a conical roller 3 of a retainer 4 retaining the conical roller 3 that is arranged between the orbit planes of an inner and an outer ring 1, 2. It enables to supply the lubricant 6 retained in the U-shaped groove little by little for long hours from a grease supply hole 7, by providing the grease supply hole 7 on the center side of the bearing at the bottom of the U-shaped groove.
