PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling device for partition panels, which dispenses with a separate joint member, is small in parts count, low in cost, and easy to assemble. SOLUTION: According to the coupling device for coupling the partition panels 1, 1 to each other, one of the panels 1 to be coupled to the other one has a pair of engaging holes 8, 9 formed in a side edge thereof at locations vertically separated from each other, and the other partition panel 1 to be coupled to the one panel has a pair of upper and lower engaging members 12, 13 mounted on a side edge thereof, in a manner engageable with the respective engaging holes 8, 9, slightly movable in the vertical direction, and disabled from slipping out. Further the coupling device is comprised of a tightening means 14 for tightening the upper and lower engaging members 12, 13 in a mutually approaching direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
