<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing apparatus of a recording medium and a playback system by which a user can enjoy image data and understand by a language that the user can understand even if the recorded image data do not have language data as text data, or even if image data recorded in various languages are included. <P>SOLUTION: An ultra high density disk drive 2 is provided which can reproduce an extra high density disk 1 which records content information prepared at least in one language. An input tool 6 is included which specifies a language after translation.
