<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy ray-curable resin composition causing no texture halation even if directly applied on a thermally color-developable layer and suitable as a solventless type overcoating agent excellent in printing travelability and the preservability of thermal printing media before and after color development, and to provide a thermal printing medium coated with the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal printing medium is such one that a thermally color-developable layer and an overcoating layer on a substrate, wherein the overcoating layer comprises the energy ray-curable resin composition comprising (A) a compound having in the molecule at least three acryloyl groups, (B) an oligomer obtained by reaction of (a) an epoxy resin having in the molecule two or more epoxy groups and an epoxy equivalent of 150-1,000 eq/g with (b) an ethylenically unsaturated group-bearing monocarboxylic acid and (C) a metallic soap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
