The present invention relates to a filter assembly for filtering of electrical signals, and to a filtered electrical connector including such a filter assembly. In particular, the present invention relates to a filtered electrical connector with adjustable performance using combined multi-aperture ferrite cores. The present invention also relates to a filter assembly for filtering of electrical signals, and to a filtered electrical connector including such a filter assembly. In particular, the present invention relates to a filtered electrical connector with ferrite block combinations for different signal mode filtering (differential mode, common mode). According to a further aspect, the present invention relates to an electrical connector with a static discharge feature. According to a further aspect, the present invention relates to an electrical connector with a cable insulation strain relief feature.
