The sign body (1) has at least one undercut groove (6) for locating a sliding clamp (15). The end of the clamp facing the middle of the groove is used to secure an edge of a cover panel (5) and an edge of an information carrier (4) not located in a guide groove (2) in the sign body. A transparent cover panel is releasably secured to the sign body and an information carrier in the form of a sheet is positioned between the panel and sign body. Guide grooves for the panel and information carrier are provided in opposing edges of the sign body.
