The disclosed invention relates to a polyurethane elastomer that has improve d hydrolysis resistance. The polyurethane elastomer is made by reacting a poly ol blend of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid based polyester polyol, an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid based polyester polyol, and a blowing agent. The polyol blend is reacted with an isocyanate terminated prepolymer. The aromatic dicarboxylic acid based polyester polyol is the reaction product of an aliphatic alcohol and ortho-phthalic acid. The aliphatic dicarboxylic acid based polyester polyol is the reaction product of adipic acid and glycols.
