PURPOSE: A non-operation method of a damper clutch is provided to secure driving force according to an operation of a driver and to improve a feeling of satisfaction by releasing and non-operating the damper clutch of a vehicle with an automatic transmission according to the driving propensity of the driver or road conditions. CONSTITUTION: A non-operation method of a damper clutch is composed of steps for judging if satisfying an operation condition of the damper clutch(S11); judging if gradient is over a set gradient(S12); judging if sporty is over a set sporty(S13); operating the damper clutch if satisfying the damper clutch operating condition and over the set gradient and the set sporty(S14); and non-operating the damper clutch if the damper clutch operating condition is not satisfied and the set gradient or sporty is small(S15).
