<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant which is manufactured from a polymer like a hydrogel containing a radiation visible substance therein and can replace an original nucleus obtained when cutting off an intervertebral disk. <P>SOLUTION: It is preferable that the material for the implant is a powder type distributed in the whole of a polymer or a powder type distributed in another peculiar position in a layer or a polymer. A radiation non-penetrating substance is a metal, for instance, gold, tungsten, titanium, tantalum, or platinum. It is also preferable that the metal is a foil or wire type positioned in the hydrogel such as polyurethane to thereby make the implant X-ray visible.
