PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To polish a cutter, especially a replaceable blade tip by suitably retaining it. SOLUTION: This cutter polishing device 10 is provided with a cutter attaching tool 25 supporting a replaceable blade tip 1, a pushing member 13 pushing the replaceable blade tip toward the cutter attaching tool and retaining it, and a grinding wheel 14 disposed oppositely to the replaceable blade tip retained by the cutter attaching tool; and the grinding wheel and the cutter attaching tool relatively move with the grinding wheel contacted with the replaceable blade tip and polish the cutter. The cutter attaching tool is provided with a first contact surface 35 contacting with the rear surface 4 of the replaceable blade tip and a second contact surface 36 contacting with a blade surface 3 not to be a polishing object out of the replaceable blade tips. The pushing member brings the rear surface of the replaceable blade tip and the blade surface not to be the polishing object in contact with the first contact surface and the second contact surface of the cutter attaching tool respectively so that the replaceable blade tip is retained by the cutter attaching tool.
