<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a touch panel having fine writing quality and excellent durability while securing an input area without causing a Newton ring. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the touch panel wherein upper and lower substrates with a pair of transparent electrodes disposed are arranged with a clearance so that the transparent electrodes face each other, and stuck with a sealing compound, has characteristically a process for providing an opening part 60a at a part of the outer peripheries of the upper and lower substrates 11a, 2 and sticking the upper and lower substrates 11a, 2 with a sealing compound 63; an upper and lower substrate deforming process for deforming the cross-sectional shape of the upper substrate 11b into nearly trapezoidal shape swollen to the outside; and an opening sealing process for sealing the opening part 60a of the sealing compound 63 in the state of holding the nearly trapezoidal shape of the upper substrate 11b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
