PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a choice over a using method of a cellular phone unit comprising a method by which an operating section comprising a plurality of operating buttons is arranged above a display section for displaying information according to an operation of the operating buttons, and a method by which the operating section is arranged below the display section. SOLUTION: The cellular phone unit comprises a phone function section 11, a display/control panel section 12 including an operating button display unit and an information display unit, a position detecting section 18, and an operation control unit 13 and a display control unit 19 which control the display/control panel section 12 to make respective displays on the operating button display unit and the information display unit vertically reverse to a position relation between both parts in response to a detection output signal from the position detecting section 18 indicating that the operating button display unit is above the information display unit, or vise versa.
