PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater effective for suppressing the contamination of a yarn path and a yarn guide near the heater in the heating of a yarn to prolong the period of periodic cleaning and cleanable simply by washing with water even in a contaminated state and provide a false-twister provided with the heater. SOLUTION: The heating of a yarn of a false-twister with the heater comprises the irradiation of ultraviolet rays to a yarn path coated with titanium oxide and the passing of the yarn through the path.
