PURPOSE: Impact-absorbing structure of a hood hinge of a vehicle is provided to reduce the impact degree to be transmitted to a pedestrian by self-absorbing impact in a collision accident where the pedestrian's head bumps against the installation part of the hood hinge. CONSTITUTION: In impact-absorbing structure of a hood hinge of a vehicle, a guide part(12a) with a vertical groove is formed to a side of a mounting bracket(12) hinged with one side of a hood arm(11) fixed to a side of a hood. One end of an auxiliary arm(13) is hinged with the mounting bracket. The auxiliary arm forms a vertically projected guide pin(13a) to be fitted together with a spring(15) to a part corresponding to the guide part. The other end of the auxiliary arm is combined with the hood arm by a hood hinge pin(16).
