<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and apparatus for creating an electronic document in a plurality of desired formats by easy operations. <P>SOLUTION: An instruction document analysis section 12 receives a user's instruction from a scanner 2, acquires an image obtained by the scanner 2 by reading an original on the basis of the received instruction, and generates a master job on the basis of the instruction.
