<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a new optical device having high manufacturing yield, high accuracy of mutual alignment between corresponding refracting surfaces and high environmental resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A 1st transparent substrate 100 containing SiO<SB>2</SB>and forming a required surface shape on one surface and a 2nd transparent substrate 200 containing SiO<SB>2</SB>and forming a required surface shape on one surface are joined with each other by the other smooth surfaces, a monomolecular layer of H<SB>2</SB>O is formed on the joint part, and after aligning both the corresponding surface shapes each other, both the joint parts are bonded by high temperature bonding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
