PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress mischief on a fire alarm and accurately inform residents of the state of a fire. SOLUTION: A fire-alarming system comprises a plurality of fire alarms 14 and a server system 12 which can communicate with the fire alarms. The fire alarms 14 are provided with emergency buttons 22, video cameras 26 for capturing a scene around the fire alarms on videotape and monitors 24, and transmit video signals which the video cameras took to the server system 12 after the emergency buttons 22 are operated. The server system 12 transmits the video signals thus transmitted to each of the fire alarms 14, and the fire alarms 14 make the monitor 24 display a picture based on the video signal transmitted from the server system 12.
