<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication terminal and a communication system capable of suppressing power consumption of the mobile communication terminal by reducing excess processing of the communication system including the mobile communication terminal and a base station. <P>SOLUTION: Discrimination means 22, 23, 30, 32, 33 discriminate whether or not the mobile communication terminal 1 moves on the basis of variations of power of a signal received by the mobile communication terminal 1.
