<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and method thereof, program therefor, and storage medium therefor by which an image can be drawn with rich power of expression. <P>SOLUTION: In an image display apparatus using this image forming method, placement information of an image such as image rotation angle, trimming information, flipping information and image aspect ratio maintaining information described by, for example, SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is interpreted, modification processing to the image data according to the contents of these interpreted image rotation angle, trimming information, flipping information and the image aspect ratio maintaining information is performed, and the assignment of the image rotation and the trimming etc. is performed in the description of placement information of the image by the descriptive language. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
