<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of defects due to filming phenomenon while making good use of the advantages of a bladeless system. <P>SOLUTION: A part on one end side is fixed and a Mylar 46 with a plurality of grooves which extend over the image forming region of the surface of a photoreceptor drum 1 in a direction perpendicular to the surface moving direction of the drum 1 is disposed on a plane part on the other end side in such a way that the plane part of the Mylar comes in contact with the surface of the photoreceptor drum in a sagged state. During 360-degree surface movement of the photoreceptor drum, the surface of the photoreceptor drum can be scraped in a plurality of stages by the edge parts of the plurality of grooves on the downstream side in the surface moving direction of the photoreceptor drum. As a result, additives sticking to the surface of the photoreceptor drum in a film shape can be scraped away under a lower contact pressure than that in the case of using a cleaning blade. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
