OIL LEAKAGE PREVENTIVE DEVICE OF SEWING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil leakage preventive structure of a sewing machine having high sealing performance and high durability.

SOLUTION: A guide member is inserted, and an oil seal part and a dust seal part of a seal member installed in the guide member contact with an outer peripheral surface of a driving shaft reciprocatingly displaced in the axial direction in a state of being lubricated with lubricating oil. The oil seal part prevents leakage of the lubricating oil by increasing sliding resistance when the driving shaft is displaced so as to separate from a lubricating position, and prevents abrasion by reducing the sliding resistance when the driving shaft is displaced so as to approach the lubricating position. The dust seal part prevents intrusion of a particulate by increasing the sliding resistance when the driving shaft is displaced so as to approach the lubricating position, and prevents the abrasion by reducing the sliding resistance when the driving shaft is displaced so as to separate from the lubricating position.
