PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate secondary cell excellent in environment resistance and durability. SOLUTION: The laminate secondary cell is formed by connecting an electrode terminal (14) to a cell element (20) formed by alternately laminating positive electrode layers (21) and negative electrode layers (22) with the interposition of separators (24), and vacuum packing the cell element with a laminate film (12) with the electrode terminal exposed outside. The separators, the positive electrode layers and the negative electrode layers are of similar figures with each other and an area of each of the separators, positive electrode layers and negative electrode layers is decreased toward a lamination direction while keeping similar shape, to form the cross section of the cell element in the direction of lamination into trapezoidal form.
