PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device with long life of which brightness of light-emitting substance is maintained without deteriorating light-emitting property while controlling dissolution of a positive electrode caused by acidic solution like PEDOT:PSS, and manufacturing cost is reduced, and to provide a manifacturing method of the same and an electronic device equipped with such an an electro-optical device. SOLUTION: The electro-optical device has a light-emitting layer 60 and a hole transport layer 70 formed between electrodes 23, 50 facing each other. The dissolution of at least one electrode out of electrodes to an acidic solution used when forming the hole transport layer 70, is controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
