Method and device for connection of a device to a wireless network

The method involves detecting an Ethernet connection (25) between a device e.g. personal computer (24) and a station (23). Addresses for the device and the station are determined, where the addresses are unique MAC addresses. The station and device are registered separately on a wireless network using respective addresses, where the station monitors traffic on the wireless network for a connecting device. An independent claim is also included for a bridge device adapted for communication on a wireless network.
