Bridge apparatus and bridge method

The apparatus has two device driver units (31, 32) controlling respective interface units connected to respective networks. A bridging unit (21) to perform a bridging process and a middleware unit inserted between the bridging unit and one device driver unit (31). The middleware unit has a transmitter to perform priority processing for a relay of a frame from the bridging unit to the device driver unit (31). An independent claim is also included for a bridge method for a bridge apparatus that relays frames for two networks.
