DEVICE FOR AIR PURIFICATION USING OZONE AND HARMFUL GAS DECOMPOSITION-CATALYZING SUBSTANCE

PURPOSE: Provided is a device for air purification, which treats various harmful gases present in living environments by decomposing quickly and cleanly with a high efficiency and a high treating capacity. CONSTITUTION: The device for treating various gases, bacteria and bad odors harmful to human bodies that are present in air by environmental pollutions comprises: a harmful gas suction fan(3) for sucking various harmful gases present in air; a filter(1) incorporated with a harmful gas decomposition-catalyzing substance for contacting with the harmful gases introduced through the suction fan(3) to decompose them; a harmful gas detecting sensor(9,10) for detecting the deterioration of the harmful gas decomposition-catalyzing substance and the present harmful gas concentration; and a display panel(12) for displaying the contact area expansion, the time for exchange of the filter and the present harmful gas concentration using the values measured by the sensor. Alternatively, the device comprises an ozone generator(2) for decomposing and treating the harmful gases with ozone.
