PURPOSE: A call forward service method is provided to shorten the standby time by allowing for a key button input even in case a call forwarding guide broadcasting is being transmitted from a mobile switching center. CONSTITUTION: A call forward service method comprises a step(S101) of permitting a destination exchange(10) to transmit a redirection request message to a TC7 block(21) if the called party subscriber is busy or in the case of no answer; a step(S102,S103) of permitting the TC7 block to transmit an acknowledge message to the destination exchange, judge whether the called party subscriber has a call forwarding function, and request a mobile call forwarding block(22) to execute a call forwarding function if the called party subscriber has a call forwarding function; a step(S104) of permitting the mobile call forwarding block to make a transfer to number request to a home location register(30); a step(S105,S106) of permitting the home location register to transmit a destination number and guide broadcasting list to the mobile call forwarding block, and transmitting a guide broadcasting to the calling party subscriber by permitting the mobile call forwarding block to request a guide broadcasting connection to a time switch and local service interface block(23); a step(S107) of permitting the mobile call forwarding block to request a signal device occupation for detection of dual tone multi-frequency to the time switch and local service interface block, and standing by for input of dual tone multi-frequency from the subscriber terminal; a step(S108,S109) of permitting the time switch and local service interface block to inform the detection of dual tone multi-frequency to the mobile call forwarding block when the dual tone multi-frequency signal is received from the subscriber terminal during standby; and a step(S110,S111) of permitting the mobile call forwarding block to cancel the guide broadcasting being transmitted, and perform a call forwarding process.
