PURPOSE: A DCC(Data Communication Channel) apparatus of an optical transmission equipment is provided so that an operator can arbitrarily select a channel, breaking from using only a relay section fixedly. CONSTITUTION: A DCC apparatus of an optical transmission equipment is comprised of a switch buffer(51) and an HDLC(High-level Data Link Control) controller(53). The switch buffer(51), connected with optical units, executes the switching of a relay section and a multiplexing section. The HDLC controller(53) executes HDLC processing for a signal switched and inputted from the switch buffer(51). The DCC apparatus also comprises a PCI-Q bridge(54), an SDRAM(55), and a CPU(56). The PCI-Q bridge(54), connected to the HDLC controller(53) through a PCI bus, executes a bridge function. The SDRAM(55), connected to the PCI-Q bridge(54) through a local bus, stores data. The CPU(56), connected to the PCI-Q bridge(54) through the local bus, executes the DCC control. |
