The invention relates to a sizing device for solid or hollow, elongate bodies of substantially round cross-section, extruded in a thermoplastic material, rubber, or the like. The device comprises an endless flat belt (14), driven or rollers and having an outward pass and a return pass, and one or more aligned guide sleeves (15) through which the outward pass of the belt (14) is intended to pass. The belt is forced to bend, adopting a cylindrical shape, upon entering a guide sleeve (15) and to readopt the flat shape upon leaving a last guide sleeve. The extruded body is received and enclosed in the outward pass which is bent into a cylindrical shape and which advances therewith through the aligned guide sleeve/s for the sizing thereof. |
