PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for synthesizing an oligonucleotide in high yield without requiring protection of a base part in a phosphoramidite method. SOLUTION: The method for synthesizing the oligonucleotide uses 1-hydroxybenzotriazole as a reaction promoter in the synthesis of the oligonucleotide by the phosphoramidite method.
