PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose combine harvester solving a problem that in a conventional combine harvester, when grain culms fed from a supply port to a threshing apparatus are returned to the supply port side by rotation of a rotor, the grain culms flow backward from the supply port side to a beater side and clogging of the grain culms occurs in a beater. SOLUTION: In the combine harvester, a conveying unit 9 for transporting the grain culms is arranged at the rear of a reaping apparatus 8 and the threshing apparatus 18 furnished with the screw type rotors 21 and 22 in the right and left directions is installed at the rear of the conveying unit 9. The beater 34 is arranged between the rear part of the conveying unit 9 and the rotor 21 and a guide plate 32 is laid between the beater 34 and the rotor 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
