PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a compressed air-making compressor at the center of gravity of the machine frame of a combine harvester to improve the balance of the combine harvester, and to operate various kinds of working implements with the compressed air of the compressor. SOLUTION: A reaper 3 for reaping grain straws and a thresher 4 for threshing the straws are disposed, and the compressor 5 for making the compressed air for operating various kinds of work implements 21, 22, 23, and the like, is disposed in a space at the center of gravity of the machine frame 1a above the travel vehicle 2. The compressor 5 is mounted through vibration insulators. One or more insertion type couplers 20 for taking out the compressed air are disposed at the proper positions of the machine frame 1a.
