<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine using a non-contact card as its charge settling means, in which the customer is prevented from suffering out of benefit even if any failure hinders the intended item of goods from being discharged in the selling operation after the payment is drawn. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine is furnished with a receipt issuing hole 6, a receipt assuring means 6A, and a ten-key 5 from which the item of goods is specified, whereby an IC card C is set confronting a reading/writing part 4, and from the remainder in the card C, the charge for the sold item(s) is subtracted as settlement by a reading/writing means 4A provided on the surface of the reading/writing part 4, and in case the intended item can not be discharged owing to any failure such that the articles are sold out, a goods transporting means 11 is troubled, etc. when the item is to be transported by the transporting means 11 to a goods discharge hole 8, a receipt 6B on which the appropriate contents are described is issued from the receipt issuing hole 6 by the receipt issuing means 6A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
