<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin tablet having relatively low power consumption and a display device provided with the tablet. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 1 is formed by stacking a tablet 4 formed by stacking a data input portion 2 and a solar battery 3, and by stacking a display panel 5. According to the display device, since the tablet 4 is provided with the solar battery 3 having transmittance properties in a visible light range, the light-transmitting property of the tablet 4 itself is not impaired and the display performance of the display panel 5 is not impaired.
