PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for removing bubble of lubricating oil surely removing the sum without giving any influence on a return flow of the lubricating oil. SOLUTION: This method removes the bubble generated by mixing lubricating oil 1 returning and falling into a tank with the lubricating oil 1 in the tank 2. The bubble is made to pass through a multilayer plate 9, which is formed by vertically stacking a plurality of plates 11 opened with multiple holes 10 therein in such a manner as deviating the respective holes 10 and 10 so as to partially overlap one another, from the lower surface side to the upper surface side and, when the bubble 14 entering in the hole 10 of the lower plate 11 of the multilayer plate 9 is raised and enters in the hole 10 in the upper plate 11, the bubble 14 is oppressed and broken in a narrowed part 13 of a passage 12 formed by the deviation between the upper/lower holes 10 and 10.
