PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium cassette with built-in non-contact memory, by which the clear transmitting/receiving operations are allowed between a recording/reproducing device side and an IC part by sufficiently extending the length of an antenna coil. SOLUTION: At the side of the recording medium cassette 10, the IC part 57 and a terminal 59T1 for transferring the transmitting/receiving signals of a separately arranged antenna part are furnished. Also, at the side of the cassette case 60 for housing the recording medium cassette 10, the antenna part 58 and a terminal 59T2 for transferring the transmitting/receiving signals of this antenna part 58 are furnished so that the terminals 59T1 and 59T2 are brought in contact for each other.
