摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scan microscope securing coupling without loss and aberration for the inside of an adaptive optical system illumination optical path and/or the inside of a detection optical path. SOLUTION: The microscope having an adaptive optical apparatus in a microscope optical path, especially the laser scan microscope includes two reflection elements 15 and 17 forming at least one as an adaptive optical element and arranged vertically on an optical axis of the microscope optical path by the reflection mirror faces of both; a beam splitter 19 setting aλ/4 plate between the beam splitter and a reflective adaptive element in each arm allowing a first adaptive element to belong to one arm and allowing the other to belong to another arm in the polarizing beam splitter 19 present at an intersection point of two orthogonal arms 16 and 18 of the microscope optical path or two orthogonal parts of the one arm folded microscope optical path by a splitter layer; and a detection device 10 coupled to the adaptive element 15 through an evaluation device and a regulation device directed toward detection light.
