TUBE-LIKE CORE ASSEMBLY FOR ROLL MADE OF PAPER OR OTHER SHEET MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube-like core assembly whose components can be reused or recycled easily. SOLUTION: This tube-like core assembly for roll includes a hollow cylindrical core member formed by multiple laps of paper board materials and an annular collar placed within end portions of the core member faced to each other. Each collar is composed of an anisotropy material having an outer annular surface attached to an inner annular surface of the core member. An annular end portion member made of a metal or plastic material has a sleeve portion placed within the collar at each end portion of the tube-like core assembly. The sleeve portion includes an outer annular surface attached to an inner ring-like surface of the collar and an inner annular surface formed to receive a roll support chuck. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
