PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push action mechanical pencil which enables a perfume storage container 5 or an eraser 13 to be fitted to a push member 4 by arbitrarily selecting the container 5 or the eraser 13 in accordance with use intended by a user. SOLUTION: In this push action mechanical pencil which pays out a lead 1 in such a manner as to advance a lead tank 3 and a chuck 2 by advancing the push member 4, a container holding part for holding the perfume storage container 5 and an eraser holding part 4F for holding the eraser 13 are formed in the push member 4.
