PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous traveling device for picking up a desired image even when an obstacle exists, without using a plurality of image devices and monitors even when many photographed parts exist in an image pick-up device. SOLUTION: This autonomous traveling device has an image pick-up function moving to a plurality of specific places for picking up the images of surroundings at moving places. As the device can move to the plurality of specific places by itself, the plurality of image devices and monitors becomes unnecessary even when many photographed parts exist, and further as the image pick-up device is installed on the autonomous traveling device moving to the specific places on the basis of the autonomous judgement, the desired image can be constantly picked up even when the obstacle exists, whereby the autonomous traveling device loading the image pick-up function of high usability can be provided.
