PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform electronic sorting of a full color image by efficiently compressing image data in an image processing for performing the electronic sorting and a base adjustment. SOLUTION: The image processing device is provided with: a storage means for storing compressed image data; a first base adjusting means for performing a base adjusting processing on image data before compression; and a second base adjusting means for performing the base adjusting processing on expanded image data. In a manual base adjusting mode, the first base adjusting means performs the base adjustment. In an automatic base adjusting mode, the second base adjusting means performs the base adjustment.
