摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-channel optical communication module which doesn't require man-hour for complicated optical alignment and has a small cavity size and allows optical semiconductor elements to be kept at a temperature for stable operation and has mutually independent optical semiconductor elements for respective channels mounted thereon. SOLUTION: The optical communication module has an optical assembly 20 provided with mutually independent semiconductor lasers 22 and optical members for respective channels, optical fibers 30 for input/output of light to respective channels of the optical assembly, and sealing members for sealing the optical assembly. The optical communication module is provided with a channel-shaped member 40 having through holes 41 for inserting optical fibers 30, as a sealing member independent of the other sealing members. The optical fibers 30 are joined to respective channels of the optical assembly 20 with optical axes adjusted and are inserted through the through holes 41 of the channel-shaped member 40, and then the optical assembly 20 is sealed.
